The University of Aix-Marseille (Université d'Aix-Marseille) is one of the largest universities in France, as well as a famous center of science in Europe. The history of the Université d’Aix-Marseille dates back to 1409. In 2012, several universities in the region merged into one European-level research center. Today, Aix-Marseille University includes more than 120 laboratories and offers 600 study programs. Campuses are located in Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Arles and Aubagne.
The university is regularly included in the top 200 best universities in the world (QS, THE, ARWU), leading in positions in the areas of Medicine, Natural Sciences, Economics, Law, Engineering. Admission to Aix-Marseille University for foreigners requires careful preparation and consideration of the nuances of French education. The education system in this country is different in that it pays special attention to the student’s profile as a whole, and not just grades. The student will have to decide on the program: License (bachelor’s degree), Master (master’s degree) or Doctorat (PhD).

Students from CIS countries apply through Campus France (Études en France). Students from the EU – directly through the university website.
Application deadlines are usually from December to March (master’s programs – until May).
