    Study process

NTU does not publish a single acceptance rate for international students. Competition is high, especially for Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and LKCMedicine. Around 80% of undergraduate places are reserved for Singapore citizens and permanent residents; international applicants compete for remaining spots.

MOE Tuition Grant reduces tuition by 40–60% in exchange for a 3-year work obligation in a Singapore-registered company (ACRA). Breach of obligation results in liquidated damages. The Service Obligation Agreement (SOA) must be signed in October before the start of studies.
