Student visa to Japan, Korea, China and Singapore: how to apply

Delays arise due to a late start of the COE application. The university initiates the process, and if you apply late, there may not be enough time for the visa itself. The COE is not a visa; it is only the basis for applying for one. After receiving the COE, you need to apply to the consulate separately.
